What make you to travel Japan? For me, its unique culture and lovely local people made me fall in love to this country!
I was born in Hong Kong and lived in the U.S. before migrated to Japan in 2014. Still amazed everyday that it is a totally different story to explore Japan as a local rather than a tourist. From major destinations such as Kyoto, Tokyo, Hiroshima to off the beaten places like Hokkaido, Akita and Shiga, I had visited most of the Japan and met lots of local people there. Their lifestyle, local culture are truly amazing and sure you can learn a lesson or even change your life either!
And that is the reason why I created "Hibi Japan". "Hibi" means "everyday" in Japanese. We aim not to only providing a safe and wonderful trip plans but also with unique experience include connecting with the locals. All your plans are tailor-made and we would like to match your requests and priorities. Spend a little time and enjoy a special moment with the locals to explore deeply how they enjoy their "Hibi" in different regions of Japan!

"The best Hibi - Hokkaido"
Hibi Japan is based in Hokkaido (北海道) and we mainly offer unique contents and experiences here. Hokkaido is the northernmost and largest prefecture in Japan. You may not find old temples and shrines like Kyoto, no urban life like Tokyo or Osaka here. But what you can explore here is another amazing and incredible "Hibi" of Japan! Let me tell you why!
① Adventure in the Untouched Vast Nature
Tall buildings are really hard to find out here but untouched forests, clear rivers & lakes, active volcanoes are everywhere! Hokkaido has the most, 6 national parks which refers the nature here is well protected! Also, here is the perfect playground for outdoor lovers! Tons of great routes for hiking, canoeing, cycling, ski & snowboarding. Move your bodies and enjoy the stunning nature with all five senses!
② Not only Japanese but also Ainu Culture
Ainus are the indigenous people in Japan and Hokkaido is their homeland. They have living for long years here although Hokkaido is a tough environment to live due to extreme cold weather. But this is the reason why their belief "coexist with the nature" made up. You can explore more about their culture by visiting traditional ceremonies and museums here. "Hibi Japan" also connect you to them to create moments to share, dance, make traditional handcrafts with each others. This experience will surely bring you some new ideas to your daily livings!
③ Wildlife is our Lovely Neighbors
Hokkaido is a paradise to not only human beings but also wildlife. Cute squirrel, red fox, deer, raccoon, rabbit inhabit to all the land of Hokkaido. You may sometime also observe rare animals like brown bear, whale,
red-crown cranes, Steller's sea eagle and ezo-owl.

④ Great Nature, Great Food & Gourmet
Cuisine here in Hokkaido is just amazing. Thanks for the great nature environment and resources, agricultural and fishery industry are both top class in Japan. We will definitely say sushi and vegetables here are the best in the world! Also dairy products such as ice-cream, cheese are also really popular And not only enjoy the meal on your own! Why not have a nice meal time with our local friends! Sure they will bring you some local dishes!
